STATISTICAL RESEARCH AND FORECASTING OF THE NUMBER OF MARRIAGES AND DIVORCES IN THE TERRITORY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of changes in the number of marriages and divorces in Russia. The paper presents the results of a study of the distribution of the number of marriages and divorces on the territory of the Russian Federation for more than 60 years, for which data from 1960 to 2022 were analyzed. Regression models were selected that most effectively describe the number of marriages and divorces. In this article, the forecast of the number of marriages and divorces in the territory of the Russian Federation for 2024 is constructed. The results suggest that by 2024 there will be an increase in the number of marriages and divorces by 0.82% and 2.69%, respectively, compared to 2022.
