AUTOMATION OF THE HOTEL CUSTOMER ACCOUNTING PROCESS

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of modern information technology in the hotel business. The article presents the results of a study of such processes of work of hotel employees with clients, as booking a hotel room, registration and accommodation, formation of an invoice for payment and check-out. BPMN notation was used as a language for modeling business processes. Based on the analysis, functional requirements for an automated customer accounting system were formed, modeling of the designed system was carried out using the universal modeling language UML. During the design of the system, diagrams of use cases, activities and classes were built. The hotel's customer registration system was implemented in the form of a web application. The article presents the architecture of the developed application. To assess the effectiveness of the proposed project, a calculation was made to reduce the time of hotel employees to perform booking functions.
