Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the effect of ash additives on the technological and technical properties of gypsum binders. Research on the mechanical processing of gypsum-ash mixtures was carried out in a shock-reflective mill. The highest values of the strength of gypsum-ash stone can be achieved by activating the ash. However, during long-term storage, gypsum undergoes hydration due to interaction with air moisture, as a result of which there is a change in the setting time of the binder and its clumping. In this case, for partial dehydration and breaking up lumps, it is necessary to mechanically process the gypsum. From an economic point of view, it is preferable to process gypsum-ash mixture than each component separately. In addition, co-processing results in better homogenization of the mixture. Joint activation allows to increase the content of a cheap component - ash in the mixture up to 50%, while significantly improving the strength of products. The proposed method of processing will save a significant amount of gypsum and at the same time utilize waste from the energy industry.
